The Drinking Duo is comprised of Jennifer Shapiro and Diego Jimenez. The two met at their cozy Italian restaurant job in Half Moon Bay, CA and have been linked at the hip ever since. The two now reside in Chicago, IL continuing to explore their love for food and beverage.

The Introduction, Pasta Moon
The two of us met at the wonderful, Pasta Moon, in Half Moon Bay, CA. As we began to bond, our love for Italian food and wine also grew while working at this establishment.

Joined at the Hips, Bay Area
Our Friendship grew over the years. Linked at the hips, we become inseparable. We soon had our go-to spots and were eager to try more new places in the bay

Separation? I think not! Las Vegas
On the first major (5-day) trip together in Vegas, Jen told Diego her plans to move out of state. As the potential cities were being listed off, Diego was quick to stop Jen when she listed Chicago as a potential location. "If you move to Chicago, I'll move with you." Done!

Chicago Here We Come, Chicago
In the cold winter, Diego was first to arrive at our new apartment in Chicago in February of 2017. Even with the repeated heat or internet issues that first month, he stuck it our till Jen's arrival in March. They've been roommates in the amazing city ever since.
